DAA Basketball Registration is Open & Open Gym

Hello Gator Families,

DAA Basketball Registration is now open for the 2018-19 Season! This registration is for boys and girls at the County level of competition (3rd-12th grade) and Clinic level (K - 2nd grade).

Register soon! County registration is only open through October 15th ($20 late fee after October 5th).

We are excited to have you and look forward to a wonderful season of learning, fun and competition. The earlier you register, the earlier we can get schedules to you. Evals will begin October 16th.

As always, every adult that works this program is a volunteer. We hope you consider hopping on board with us! We have openings for coaches, boys coordinators, and uniform managers. We are also looking for someone to take over the Basketball Commissioner duties for 2019/2020 season and can shadow the current commisioner this year.

Goalkeeper Academy - Fall 2018

DAA Soccer is pleased to announce the Fall 2018 Goalkeeper Academy - this program provides Technical Training for County and Travel players looking to specifically build/hone their Goalkeeping skills. Logistics are below:

  • Dates: Wednesday Nights (09/19/18 - 10/24/18; 6 weeks)
  • Time: 6:30PM-7:30PM
  • Location: Davidsonville Park
  • Cost: $100
  • Age Groups: 2002-2010 Boys and Girls; open to DAA and non-DAA players
  • Registration: Sign-up via the following link - DAA Goalkeeper Academy

The Goalkeeper Academy will be led by Ron Santos - head coach of the DAA Arsenal (Girls 2003) and Indian Creek Girls Varsity. He is a certified NSCAA Level VI Coach and Level III Goalkeeper Coach and has over 30 years of experience training goalkeepers.

Soccer Academy - Fall 2018

DAA Soccer is pleased to announce the Fall 2018 Academy Soccer program. The program provides Technical Training for County and Travel players looking to build/hone their technical skills. Logistics are below:

  • Dates: Thursday Nights (09/27/18 - 11/01/18; 6 weeks)
  • Time: 7:00 PM-8:30PM
  • Location: Davidsonville Park
  • Cost: $75
  • Age Groups: 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Boys and Girls - open to DAA and non-DAA players

Some additional Academy details are:

  • Conducted by Charlie Raphael - former U.S National Team player and the current head coach of the Huntingtown HS Varsity Girls soccer team.  He played collegiate soccer at George Mason in an era where they were one of the nation’s best teams.
  • Players are placed in groups by birth year so they are playing with current/future team mates
  • Structured drills in a fast-paced environment

2018/19 Season - Travel Soccer Players Needed

DAA held annual open tryouts for our travel soccer program to form teams for the Fall-Spring 2018/2019 season. Our initial set of tryouts for the 2018/19 season are complete. The following DAA Travel Soccer teams are looking for additional players to round out their teams:

  • Girls 2003
  • Girls 2004
  • Girls 2005
