Charlie Raphael - 2002, 2003, 2004 Boys & 2004 Girls

DAA is pleased to announce that Charlie Raphael will be leading our 2002 Boys, 2003 Boys, 2004 Boys and 2004 Girls for the upcoming 2017/2018 season. 

Coach Charlie is a former U.S National Team player and the current head coach of the Huntingtown HS Varsity Girls soccer team.  He played collegiate soccer at George Mason in an era where they were one of the nation’s best teams.  Entering his 3rd year of coaching for DAA, Charlie brings a tremendous amount of soccer training experience to the club.

David Bukowski – 2006 Girls

DAA is pleased to announce that Archbishop Spalding High School JV Girls Head Soccer Coach, David Bukowski will lead our 2006 Girls for the upcoming 2017/2018 season as Head Coach and Trainer.

Coach Dave is a former local soccer player for Arundel.  Dave has over 25 years of Head Coaching and Goalkeeper Training experience including County and Travel programs at Bowie, Freestate Soccer and ASA.

Dave is currently the Head Coach of the Spalding HS Girls JV Soccer team, a position he has held since 2003.  His results at Spalding are a testament to his preparation and training philosophy.  In the most recently completed 2016/2017 season his Spalding JV team finished undefeated at 13-0-0.  Dave holds the USSF State D Coaching License as well as the NSCAA Level 1 Goalkeeping Diploma

Steven Macdonald - 2000, 2001, 2007 Boys

DAA is pleased to announce that Steven MacDonald will be leading our 2000 Boys, 2001 Boys and 2007 Boys for the upcoming 2017/2018 season. 

Coach Steven served as the regional director for UK Elite. He is vastly experienced in youth development and was recently the Head Coach of Seton Keogh HS girl’s program.

John Steele - 2006 Boys

DAA is pleased to announce that John Steele will be leading our 2006 Boys for the upcoming 2017/2018 season. 

Coach Steele played collegiate soccer at Towson University where he would go on to join the coaching staff before moving on to SUNY Maritime as an assistant coach. John has since joined UK Elite to continue his work in youth soccer.

Bob Gleeson - 2001/02 Girls

DAA is pleased to announce that Bob Gleeson will be leading our 2001/02 Girls for the upcoming 2017/2018 season. 

Bob has been coaching locally for 12 years and continues to build great teams on the principles of good technique and development. The DAA Dynamite were crowned the 2016 Maryland State Cup Champions in 2016.

Danielle Piccirilli - 2007 Girls

DAA is excited to announce that former South River HS standout Danielle Piccirilli will be leading our 2007 Girls for the upcoming 2017/2018 season.

Coach Danielle, a 4-year letter winner at South River HS, was the only freshman chosen to the Varsity Girls Soccer Team in 2007. During her tenure she helped lead her team to 2 county championships and one regional title. Danielle, a 2-time All-County selection was named to the All-State Team in 2011 while serving as team captain.She played club soccer for Freestate Fury where she was also named team captain. Danielle went on to a successful 4yr collegiate career at Bucknell University where she appeared in 56 games scoring in multiple games.

Danielle has worked with DAA in the past and we are excited to have her back to serve as Head Coach and Trainer of our 2007 Girls team.

Dakota Edwards – 2005, 2008 Boys & 2005 Girls

DAA is excited to announce that Dakota Edwards will be leading our 2005 Girls, 2005 Boys and 2008 Boys for the upcoming 2017/2018 season.

Dakota, a Long Island native, was awarded the Gatorade Player of the year in 2012 as well as All-American honors that same year. He was the Suffolk Player of the year in 2011 and 2012 leading his team to the Long Island Championship in 2010 and 2011 as well as the NY State Cup in 2011.

Dakota committed to The University of Maryland in his junior year and went on to a successful 4yr career at UMD. During his time there UMD won the ACC Championship in 2012 and 2013 and then the Big Ten Championship in 2014 and 2015. In 2012 UMD made it to the semifinals of the NCAA tournament and in 2013 UMD made it to the finals.

This will be Dakota's second full season with DAA and we are extremely excited to have him back!
