Davidsonville Athletic Association is a non-profit organization administered by a volunteer board whose mission is to promote, encourage, direct and operate athletic programs for the children and youth of the Davidsonville area, Anne Arundel County.

Gator JDL- Gator JDL is our in house junior development program for children ages 7-12  learning to play tackle football.  It is run like a clinic program, all of the practices and games are in the same location. The mission of this program is to provide a safe enviornment in which children have an equal opportunity to learn, play, and enjoy the game of tackle football. This program offers balanced competition, an abundance of meaningful playing time for all, positive reinforcement, and a focus on fundamentals. Children participating in this program will be provided with a helmet, should pads, a game jersey and game pants. 
We are currently looking for coaches moms or dads. No experience is necessary. We provide all coaching materials and instruction.
Varsity U Tackle football- for ages 11-13 Players must turn 11 by September 1, 2018 to be eligible to play. Any player turning 14 but not yet in high school is eligible to play in this division. Any player turning 15 before Dec 31 2018 is ineligible to play in this division. 
Gators Football will be sponsoring football memberships for the less fortunate for the upcoming 2018 football season. If you would like to sponsor an athlete for the upcoming season please contact the football staff (info below).
Game jerseys & game pants will be distributed prior to the first games. A $250 deposit is required for the game jersey, game pants, helmet, and shoulder pads which will be returned when the equipment is handed in at the end of the season.
All players are required by the county to have the following:
Shoulder pads
Helmet *

Colored Mouth guard with strap to attach to helmet *
Players are required to provide their own practice pants and practice jersey.
Optional: Rib pads & Athletic cup.

* Gators Football will supply the equipment noted with asterisks. There will be a $250 security deposit required for all borrowed equipment
