The age brackets listed below are for the Spring 2013 season.
SCOOPERS
Boys born between 9/1/2005 and 8/31/2008 are eligible to play -- This age group is instructional and fun. The teams are divided evenly based on age and talent level. Players are required to wear helmet, mouth guard, gloves and arm pads. Games are played 6 vs. 6 on a shortened field with no goalie. The season usually begins in mid March and is complete by mid May.
CLINIC
Boys born between 9/1/2003 and 8/31/2005 are eligible to play -- This age group is instructional and teams are divided evenly. They will play approximately 12 games in the county league. The season begins in the beginning of March and is complete by the beginning of June. We plan to have teams in this group play a pre-season tournament in late March and a post season tournament in early June.
PEE WEE
Boys born between 9/1/2001 and 8/31/2003 are eligible to play -- This age group is both instructional and competitive. New this season, there will be an "A" Pee Wee league in the county. We will field a team in this league and our remaining teams will be evenly split and play against other evenly split county teams. There will be approximately 12 games in the county league. The season begins in the beginning of March and is complete by the beginning of June. We plan to have teams in this group play a pre-season tournament in late March and a post-season tournament in early June.
MIDGET
Boys born between 9/1/1999 and 8/31/2001 are eligible to play -- This group is divided by skill into AA, A, B, or C level teams. A group of various coaches will determine during tryouts at which level players participate. This age groups plays 10+ county games and will participate in play-offs/county championships. They will also participate in several pre-season tournaments and scrimmages. Tryouts/practices begin in late February.
JUNIOR
Boys born between 9/1/1997 and 8/31/1999 are eligible to play -- This group is divided by skill into AA, A, B, or C level teams. Tryouts/practices begin in late February.
