The Davidsonville Athletic Association's girls lacrosse program is designed to meet the needs of every lacrosse player (Kindergarten - 8th Grade) from beginner to advanced skill levels.

Age Group Information
Sticklettes (K-2nd Grade)
The Sticklette program focuses on fun and instruction. Practices will begin at the end of March or beginning of April and will run through the end of May. The season will include 2 practices a week followed by a game on the weekend. Game format will be 6v6 with no goalie on a field approximately 50 yards in length. Games will be played at various fields throughout the county with coach referees. The focal points of this league will be skill-building and sportsmanship, with some emphasis on the basics of positioning, rules and field play.
Pee Wees (3rd-4th Grade)
The Pee Wee age group has games that are 8v8 with a goalie, with no checking at this level, and scores are not recorded. Practices will begin in the middle of March and will run through the end of May. The season will include 2 practices a week followed by a game on the weekend. Games will be played at various fields throughout the county with teams in either the A, B or C divisions depending on skill level. The focal points of this league will be skill-building and sportsmanship, with more emphasis on the basics of positioning, rules and field play.
Middies (5th-6th Grade)
The games are 12v12 with a goalie, modified checking and scores are recorded. Fields will have hard boundaries. Practices will begin in the middle of March and will run through the end of May. The season will include 2 practices a week followed by a game on the weekend with a possible weeknight game. Games will be played at various fields throughout the county with teams in either the A, B or C divisions depending on skill level. There will be playoffs for this age group. The focal points of this league will be skill-building and sportsmanship, teamwork, positioning, and introduction to strategy and plays.
Juniors (7th-8th Grade)
The games are 12v12 with a goalie. modified checking and scores are recorded. Fields will have hard boundaries. Practices will begin in the middle of March and will run through the end of May. The season will include 2 practices a week followed by a game on the weekend with a possible weeknight game. Games will be played at various fields throughout the county with teams in either the A, B or C divisions depending on skill level. There will be play-offs for this age group.

Uniforms
All uniforms will be provided.
Sticklette, Pee Wee, Middie and Junior levels will be provided with a jersey and a kilt - A $75 refundable deposit will be collected by your coach before you can receive the uniform. The check will not be deposited unless your daughter fails to return both the jersey and kilt at the end of the season. This is protocol for all DAA sports.
Equipment
All girls, regardless of age group, will require the following:
- Goggles, please make sure they are certified.
- Colored mouth guard (if your daughter has braces they must use the braces mouth guard)
- Lacrosse stick
- Cleats are highly recommended
- If you have a daughter who is a goalie the chest protector regulations have changed.
Coaches Needed
We need volunteer coaches for all ages-Kindergarten through 8th grade. If you would like to help but are hesitant for any reason please reach out to me so we can discuss. We often offer discounted sign up fees for parents who would like to coach. Thank you in advance for anyone who can volunteer!
